As of February 1, 2002 there is no longer a limit on the amount of quotes you can retrieve with Quote Monkey!  This means that both the Monthly and Yearly plans have become unlimited plans.  The Basic Yearly plan has been replaced with the Unlimited Yearly plan.

Our historical database goes back as far as 15  years for stocks, and 10 years on individual futures contracts.  Future options prices have as much as 2 years of data.

For our Quote Monkey downloader the minimum system requirements are an Intel Pentium class processor or equivalent, a modem or broadband internet connection, and Windows 95 and above.  Keep in mind that a slower computer will download slower and run our programs much slower as well.  You must also keep in mind the minimum requirements recommended by your particular charting program, if you are running anything other than Quote Monkey!

You can access Primate's database anytime, day or night.  However, our system updates between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Pacific Standard time.  And, although service is available 24 hours a day, current day's quotes are available as early as 3:30 p.m. but can arrive after 4:30 p.m., Pacific Standard time on busy market days.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Canceling is very easy to do.  You can send an email to support@primate.com.  Just include the account first name, last name and a brief description telling us why you wish to cancel.  You can also log on to our secure server at Cancel Account to cancel online.

How do I fix the Communication busy error?

This error is very easy to correct. In Quote Monkey, click Settings on the menu. Now choose Internet and Modem from the list. Finally locate the check box labeled IE Compatible (normally checked) and uncheck it.
